Rambo protector

Anyone washed one of these? My boy got his caked in mud yesterday so thought would put in washer. It's been through twice now and has all dark patches on it where stains won't come out! It's only a couple of weeks old. Any advice?

I've got a really old one, but I only wash mine with a hose and dandy brush (I hate putting any rugs in the washing machine - they are never the same!)

Have hosed off the worst from my Mark Todd fly rug and also put in washer once. But the mT one is a soft mesh ans I think Rambo is a bit more rigid?
Probably best to just hose and put up with grimness, which it is why it has taken me 3yrs to decide to buy a fly rug!

Mine has been in the washing machine quite a few times, and been hosed off alot more, the stains dont come off but it will be clean.

It's clean but some just dont come out. I am a bit if a hose and a dandy brush girl to be honest but it works good enough.

Mine goes in every few weeks and tbh hasnt made any difference. Don't come out completely clean though.
