I was wondering if someone might have the answer to my problem or a solution to it at least!
I have a 6year old mare that has done very little of anything until she came to me in Dec 10, unfortunately that includes travelling!
when i first bought her she was difficult to get near a box but through time she now goes on easily with the help of a lunge line round her bum!
The only problem now is she sits on the ramp and in turn rubs her bum cheek raw! i now wrap her tail in a bandage put on a tail guard and put a bum guard on also but still she manages to do damage to herself! i have a physio coming out today as i think she has pulled a mussel in her hind leg from this also!
Has anyone any suggestions? i have also removed the partition to see if more room helps and it doesn't!
Please all suggestions gratefully received??
