My aunt had a riding school so have been sat on ponies since I was about 2

Proper lessons started when I was about 6 and then they've been on and off for years.

Around 5/6 was when I started riding regularly, but I'm still rubbish

Don't have my own horse atm but other people are kind enough to let me ride theirs

Started when I was about 3 but had a break for about 5 years when my parents divorced, got my first pony at 11 but couldn't ride her as she was a foal, used to beg, borrow and steal rides on other peoples horses.

Now own 3 - including the one I got when I was 11.

I'm still rubbish too!

Less than 5- Did pony club at 4, first ridden showing at that age, leadrein showing from tiny.

I have 2 of my own ponies, and pretty much the use of 7 other ponies that are owned by the family, and Borrow a horse

Started riding when I was six, then when I was 13 I stopped and I've only just started again. You'd think something I learned over all those years would've stuck but no, I'm basically starting from scratch.

I've never had my own horse, or a loan or anything. Riding school ponies all the way for me.

Have always been horse mad but didn't start lessons until I was 11 or 12ish.

This week I will be a horse owner for the first time, owning both Ellie and Daisy.

Its been a long time coming, I'm 42

I started having riding lessons when I was 12, I had my first pony when I was 14 and I still have him now at 18. I also have three other horses.

I started riding at 5 - had a share pony at 13 then through the horrors of another I had later that year (yes I was lucky enough to have 2 shares) I got my first at 14 - 15.2 ex race horse. Lovely but looney! Had her til I was 20 when I lost her to colic and thought my world would never be the same. I got the mare in my sig when I was 18 and still have her 6years later and a Dartie who I recently put on loan to a very lovely person through HHO.
