about 2 weeks ago I put my mare on Oestress for her seasons. She was getting out fo hand and something was needed.
Before going on to this she was in tip top condition and doing better then ever after being diagnosed with ringbone in January. I didn't think this would have any impact on her soundness as it is for her seasons and the other supplements she is on is for her joints so thought nothing of it.
About 4 days after going onto the oestress (loading dose is for 7 days) she came in from the field short in her bad leg. She has been like this since going onto the oestress and seems quiet in herself and that is the only thing that has changed in her diet.
The other supplements she is on is:
99% Glucosamine supplement 1.5 scoops per day,
a "glug" of Apple Cider Vinegar per day,
1/2 mug of corn oil per day
1 sachet of bute after she is ridden so maybe 4 times a week.
What I am asking is has anybody else experienced anything like this whilst using Oestress with other supplements?
I am going to stop it tonight and see if she improves over a few weeks as like I say this is the only thing new in her diet which I can think would be causing this... Maybe its not reacting well with her other supplements or just with her in general??
Any advice greatfully recieved
