Unfortunately my mare seems to be having hind gut issues again after a few years of being okay which I’m putting down to the crazy weather and grass situation this year.

I have increased the dosage of supplements and taken her off hay but unfortunately the only thing that sorted her a few years ago was ranitidine. I’ve gone to buy her some more tablets and it’s now impossible to get hold of as it’s banned :(

Does anyone know of any alternatives please? I think I went with ranitidine previously as it works for the hind guy whereas Omeprazole doesn’t and didn’t do as much for her.

The only place I have seen ranitidine lately is in pound shops.
I use aloe vera juice for my boy ?
