Ranitidine alternatives

Unfortunately my mare seems to be having hind gut issues again after a few years of being okay which I’m putting down to the crazy weather and grass situation this year.

I have increased the dosage of supplements and taken her off hay but unfortunately the only thing that sorted her a few years ago was ranitidine. I’ve gone to buy her some more tablets and it’s now impossible to get hold of as it’s banned

Does anyone know of any alternatives please? I think I went with ranitidine previously as it works for the hind guy whereas Omeprazole doesn’t and didn’t do as much for her.

The only place I have seen ranitidine lately is in pound shops.
I use aloe vera juice for my boy ?

Savers chemist's usually have them although I haven't tried to buy them lately, why would they be banned it's only a indigestion treatment.

There was something in the ranitidine that caused a cancer apparently

Oh really I didn't know that I used to take it quite a bit at one time.
