Really? Was it just a myth about the Koenigs? Then I was very lucky with my Petries, I never got any blisters at all!

Which one is the Koenig model with the highest dressage cut? The Sirs? I wouldn't mind having those for my next competition boots (which need changing sooner rather than later).

As for your dilemma Sherry v Cognac PS, do you have them in dark brown right now? If so I would go for nougat which is the most gorgeous shade of brown, Cognac is way too light for dressage! Would be ok for a showjumper though.
 
The Sirs are the highest and have the covered zips which are nice.

Colour-wise, I'm liking Sherry! :)

But for work boots, Parlanti do an amazing pair in a lighter brown with front zips and buckles and I totally covet them, they are just gorgeous.
