I dread to thinkWell to be fair, dogs have a slightly different digestive system. I don't think I could eat a month's old hare carcass in three gulps and survive very long.

As in physically mixing the mince and kibble rather than just in the same bowl? This is anecdotal but I've found mixing helps things move through a lot quicker/helps avoid constipation/impaction.
I don't mix it for them, figuring that mastication and general digestion will mix things up perfectly adequately. As in physically mixing the mince and kibble rather than just in the same bowl?

But have you ever tried? . Mine were clearing the frozen sheep poo off our drive this morning and when I objected they said ‘plenty here, we are happy to share’.Well to be fair, dogs have a slightly different digestive system. Ah, but have you come in from foaling up to the elbows in amniotic whatsits and eaten nachos without washing your hands? Maybe that's why I never get sick???I've eaten a sandwich straight after throwing sheep poop off my track and forgetting to wash my hands and I am still upright, I suppose.....
I feel fuller after carbs? But I’m greedy too.Do any of you have views on whether they feel fuller on kibble? My two are raw fed and look and clearly feel great on it BUT the spaniel is clearly constantly hungry - she steals food if she can and is slightly obsessed with the cat’s food. She wasn’t like that before she went onto raw.
I have been wondering whether a handful of kibble in her meals might fill her up for longer….
I dunno, it hasn't stopped my world-class whippet thief from operating a cat food larceny ring (she gets the taller lurcher to pull the dish down from the counter and scoffs the lot, several times a day).Do any of you have views on whether they feel fuller on kibble? I used to use Durham Animal Feeds (who I think will deliver to your area) and was always happy with quality and service. But I should add I am Lancaster north west based if anyone does have recommendations
That’s really handy to know thank youIf you feed full raw and the dog isn't feeling full replacing 1/4 to 1/3 of the feed with soaked overnight oats (oats soaked with whatever you like, water, kefir, bone broth) can work very well. Also very useful for dogs who do sustained periods of work and tend to crash energy wise on just raw.
Great tip.
