I have an 8 month old small terrier puppy. She has been on the raw diet for about 6 weeks now. I just wanted to check that I am getting it right:
I feed her a varied diet: Chicken (drumstick & wing) one day, Lamb (breast or neck), Free flow minced Tripe, Sardines (fresh or tinned), Liver and a raw egg once a week, Beef (Oxtail or stewing steak) Pork ribs occasionally. She has a couple of tablespoons of mixed veg once a week (she doesn't particularly like it - peas & carrots she likes but not french beans!) She also has a teaspoon of natural yoghurt once a day. Is this OK? Can it be so simple? Am I missing something? Some people say they should have 40% veg in their diet but others say that it is not necessary.
She is thriving and is full of energy.
