Raw Diet - Am I getting it right?

I have an 8 month old small terrier puppy. She has been on the raw diet for about 6 weeks now. I just wanted to check that I am getting it right:
I feed her a varied diet: Chicken (drumstick & wing) one day, Lamb (breast or neck), Free flow minced Tripe, Sardines (fresh or tinned), Liver and a raw egg once a week, Beef (Oxtail or stewing steak) Pork ribs occasionally. She has a couple of tablespoons of mixed veg once a week (she doesn't particularly like it - peas & carrots she likes but not french beans!) She also has a teaspoon of natural yoghurt once a day. Is this OK? Can it be so simple? Am I missing something? Some people say they should have 40% veg in their diet but others say that it is not necessary.
She is thriving and is full of energy.

Sounds fine to me :) Lots of variety and some offal. Could you add some heart? Mine go mad for it and its a really good thing to feed. Maybe a small amount of kidney as well? I wouldnt sweat it though. Neither of mine will touch liver in any shape or from, and they are both thriving :)

I've been raw feeding for a couple of years now and rarely think about the specifics. I buy a couple of months worth at a time and make sure theres plenty of variety then I just feed what is at the front of the freezer or reduced in Morrisons

I do feed a mince and veg mix, but only because I own a whippet who is on a mission to become incredibly fat. He can have 2 or 3 times the amount of mince and veg that he can have of just meat etc, so it keeps everyone happy if he gets that a few days a week. I wouldn't feed it unless I was weight watching. I think its just personal preference though :)

I get mine from various places. Morrisons, local butcher, local petshop, delivered by a raw food supplier. Both Durham Animal Feeds and Manifold Valley meats do monthly deliveries, well actually lots and lots of places do, but they are the 2 big ones. I tend to use:

Just because they stock things from a few different suppliers so I can pick and choose what I get :)

The ratio is 80:10:10 meat bones offal. As long as you're following that over a week, not necessarily a day, then you should be OK. There are lots of helpful raw feeding groups on Facebook if you're unsure. I've never fed veg, don't see the point. They get a carrot occasionally, purely because they quite like them.

For suppliers, if you're in his catchment area, I can't recommend Scott at the Dog Food Company highly enough, especially if you bulk buy. The quality is very good, as is the variety. He's a tricky one to get hold of, but once you're on his radar, you're sorted. I see him once every 3-4 months and get a huge order for my three. Invest in a big freezer!

Chicken drumsticks and wings I get from Lidl's as they are the cheapest. The offal, beef and pork I get from the butchers counter of Tescos or Morrisons. The breast of lamb I get from the Butchers and the bones I get from the butcher too but I find the rest of their meat more expensive than the supermarkets and they don't give scraps (all the scrap meat goes in sausages!!) The freeflow minced tripe most pet shops sell - you just have to hunt around for the cheapest. There are specialist companies that sell packs of raw food but I went off them as they tend to use more vegetables in their mix (i.e. one company was 60% meat and 40% vegetables!!)

Not all suppliers add veg...... in fact its quite rare, unless it is the more expensive premades as opposed to just minced meat and bone. I use Bruno's dinner stockist of Landywoods products near gatwick

Google raw dog food suppliers

I use Manifold Valley Meats - they are second to none as far as quality is concerned, but as a result they aren't necessarily the cheapest. Personally I don't add veg to my dogs diet, as they add it themselves by grazing on grass/blackberry leaves as required :) I think they look OK on it.... :)

Awww thank you NellRosk that has made me very happy lol - love my Greyhound Gang, they were competing for the 'shiniest greyhound' competition in this one :D I shared it to MVM's FB page and one of their suppliers shared it on :o :D :D

Aww how lovely :)

Just been to Morrisson's where there were loads of lamb bones, beef bones and lamb kidney going cheap. Filled my trolley! (I'm off sick, the OH took me to get more compression stockings from the hospital and Morrisson's is round the corner :redface3:)
