Ideas please. (not advertising, this is asking for help!)
This pony is now 19, has done 4 years at RS and now retired from this.
Would be ideal companion, still ridden and has life, but needs quieter time.
Difficult pony in that She does not like men, farriers/vets. Hates trailers and lorries and is difficult, if not impossible, to load. gets traumatised by it really, so local home would be best, unless someone has patience of a saint and time!
She is a lovely pony, Newfie, and loves one on one attention.
Where best to advertise her? Owner looking for nominal amount really, as mare is quite aged.
Could be good for child, she is quite easy to ride, sometimes a bit strong if not been out much.
Is it worth putting her out as companion or loan maybe? Where she is just now is only temporary, as owner has two other horses, pony was basically on loan to RS but now needs new home.
Thanks
