Hannah was quite restless again last night, but again no sign of a foalie.
I went in this morning and she had the huge bag she has had for the past few days, but there is no wax and she is not running milk. Her quarters are still soft and a bit saggy, her vulva is long and puffy and her tail is still rubbery. I can still see the last rib I could see last night which suggests Hanlette has dropped down even more.
I put her out in the field for a few hours and when I brought her in her bag had completely decreased (not been doing this), but there is still swelling in front of it, however the bag itself has reduced a lot. So I am now worried that something is not right because it has been staying up for the past 3-4 days, and if there is nothing wrong then this suggests she has a long long way to go yet I think.
Anyone had something simliar happen to them?
How do you know if something is not right with the foal (in that it is no longer alive in the womb)?
