Boos' coat is starting to look a little tired after being sponged/hosed after work daily..
Can any of you recommend me a body wash that I can use to keep her coat nice?

Thanks!

As in a shampoo?
If so I use Dream coat on Woods, he's a digusting sweaty bugger and ends up having a fire hose power shower 6 days a week! His coat still looks nice, fresh and very shiny when washed with this once a week

I'd be more inclined to add some oil to the food than the wash , and the sun can also make the coat look faded and dull.
I'd probably just go for the cheapest shamppo and conditioner for humans, lidl do some good ones.
We have used a lavender scented horse one at comps but it would be really expenisve for daily use.

I use a lavender scented one too - makes their coats lovely and soft (one grey and one bright bay). Is in a mainly white bottle with gren lilac writng on it of that helps at all.

Mark Todd comp wash for sompetitions, Red rum wash is great for everyday, a little goes a long way and it smells divine!!

Fantastic, thanks guys! I have some idea of what to go for now, I feel a visit to Surrey Pet Supplies or Horse Health Wessex coming on

HH - She is on Alfa-A Oil, and wears a fly sheet

I think her skin/coat is her biggest let down, she is very sensitive and allergic to lots of things!

I also use the Red Rum, think its witch hazel and arnica and agree fantastic smell! KatB what is the Mark Todd wash like and how come you save it for comps? Is it more powerful/expensive?

Just find it is a better wash instead of a rinse, so it gets rid of sweat/mud better! Also a bit more expensive I think....
