Well I've always used Ariat Mudbusters and they've always been superb, however I bought a pair at the beginning of October and both left and right ones have split where the sole joins the welly, so I am not getting any more. They are letting water in, and I am not happy. I contacted the online company I bought them from who said that I can return them for a refund, but they didn't have any to replace them with, so I need some more wellies and soon!
Can you recommmend me some good waterproof, strong wellies with good grip (not Hunters, thanks) and which may also be used for riding. I have quite "shapely" calves, so need something that I can get my jeans into as well - I've seen some Shires performance ones, but not sure of the calf width or whether they can be used for riding......help!
