We have just wormed our 3 cobs with Equimax ( Daisy the youngster 2 1/2 yrs was wormed yesterday) our other 2 wormed this afternoon. On arrival this morning Daisy's poo had small red worms and 1 pin worm present, so we know it was from our youngster. We realise that this will not deal with encysted red worms so would need to treat with Moxidectin. My question is can we go ahead and treat this right away or do we need to leave it a while since we have already wormed them albeit with a different drug mix (Ivermectin & Praziquantel ) knowing that Ivermectin does not kill the encysted form. We have never seen Daisy pass any poo with red worms before. Aplologies for the disgusting pic...

Don’t worm again immediately. I’d aim to give it 8 weeks if you can, so end of Dec/early Jan and try to time is during a cold snap. Use Equest
