I've just bought a second hand thorowgood griffin synthetic dressage from ebay - seems to be a good fit but I want to get it reflocked as some of the flocking is a bit lumpy and uneven although nothing drastic.
I had the fitter out briefly the other night(they were running late and I had to leave for a lesson) - they didn't see me ride in it or anything but checked it over and flagged the issue with the flocking but said it would be near impossible to reflock as the saddle was synthetic.
I didn't get a chance to clarify but I can't understand why it would be any more difficult to reflock this than a leather saddle?
Does anyone have any experience of this - is it more difficult to reflock this type of saddle?
