Lou_x I'm U18 and I've kickstarted it all!! LOL So I'm sure you could, just as long as we all promise to behave!
Severnmiles - if you read my post in reply to Nic's, my geography is shocking anyway, and I don't know the area's, so thought it'd be better if the welsh, scots and irish organised their own areas.

I won't have anything to join in on this summer, but would love to come on foot to something!

I am Area 9 - Hilltop Ledbury, Gadbury, Sapey, Broadway (not sure if they do schooling?), The Deer Park.....

Sounds great!
Oh and sorry, I might just be being stupid, but what does HHO mean? :s
I would be in area 1, and I don't know where you would put it (as its in Staffs.) but don't forget Eland Lodge!

Im up for SJ stuff - tho theres a sweet little XC course at grove farm RC which is good for those not as mad as proper XC riders LOL!

Thats in South bucks but easy to get to from middlesex, berks, etc.

Would be happy to host.

Would suggest that you get a provisional price / date from a venue, than advertise these one at a time to get takers.

You will need to consider the abilities of riders (you dont need a top trainer at 75 cms, a riding club trainer could be better / cheaper), if you are looking PN / N then a good trainer will be of benefit. If you have big groups, then you could have both, and some just going it alone.

Personally I would advise just having a schooling session, grouping yourselves up & going & having fun to start with. If that goes well then have the added dilemma of pinning down a trainer.

Just for schooling, drop outs are not a problem, as you will be paying by the rider, but if a trainer wants a fixed hourly rate, then drop outs will be a problem.

Showjumps midweek are easy to organise, XC 7 days a week, but not November - February, cafe or meeting place also easy. We could do a deal on day stables and a meal if you want to be civilised, as I am sure many other venues could do

Only just seen this post, what a good idea. If anyone is interested in using my new yard I can offer first class Indoor & Outdoor facilities. A good few SJ Instructors (from a novice level to GP. Also we have many good BD trainers nearby. Anyone interested let me know. Presently trying to sort out some training & fun days.

Oops. Forgot to mention we are Lancs A59 between Clitheroe & Preston.

Count me and friends in....We're in cambridge so could be area 2 or 3 if not too far east.
Can we suggest Hill House, Harlton, Ltle Downham.... or Keysoe?!

Sorry should have asked.. who is/is there a rep for area 2 or 3?
And would anyone want to share/group hire transport from Cambridge...?
