Registering the little one....

Hey all.
I'm totally lost as to where I should be starting when looking to register Till's little one.
Daddy is registered with Weatherby's (non-racing) and Mum is unregistered and of unknown breeding.
I can't really make sense of the Weatherby's website though tit might be a good place to get an idea of standard protocol* so what should I do first?
Does anyone know what societies the little one could be registered with?
Help gratefully received!!!

I don't know if you saw my posts but I decided not to go with Wetherbys for the pure reason of cost (i'm going with BSPA now). It was going to cost me £500 to register 2 foals

but if you can afford it go for it, as Wetherbys are great. Goshka Ringo is registered with Wetherbys also.

, i would have to register the mare, get her DNA tested, then register the foal and then get the foal DNA tested. Its £69.60 for a mare and £102.00 for a mare, plus DNA tests plus vets fees.

Also will your foal be by AI?? Because i got this email from Wetherbys-

I did see your last post, but hadn't followed the ins and outs of it.
But yes, she was AI'd and if she hasn't taken this time then she'll be AI'd next time too plus the fact that it will be an 08 foal.....So that kinda shoots that plan down before we even start!!
Thanks very much for the weatherby's info Claire, I think it'd be a small miracle if it came out coloured so I can't follow you over to the BSPA!!

Thats ok, i would ring Wetherbys still just in case, i don't want to be the one who told you that you can't reg the foal with them and be wrong
