Remember my stolen landy???.....

My landy was stolen in September (see previous postings) and found 2 weeks later in Reading looking like this

Well after a long wait due to the insurance being rather slow to sort it out, it finally came home 3 weeks ago and after a good steam clean and a bit of polishing inbetween torrential rain, today it looks like this...

It was a total loss due to the lovely paint job but otherwise it is fine!!. Insurance were pretty generous with their valuation too. It now takes me 10 minutes to get in it and undo all the security contraptions now!!
Thanks to all the people who encouraged me to buy it back and restore it, you were all right.

I had a friend with an old Landy called betsy. It was two tone Green and red where the rudt particles had built up. It was great because we could walk on the bonnet and the roof.
Great for spectating at badminton

Looks alot better now! Had a friend who had a lorry the colour the thieves had painted your Landy, and we never lost it on a show ground!

Its been T cutted to death, as there are still traces of green in places the steam cleaner couldn't get, but it is shinier than I have ever known it!

It was the most hideous green, if you are driving around in a stolen car why paint it a colour to draw attention to yourself?
