Mine hasn’t been connecting for a few days but I've got it in a different location and have put it down to weaker signal

Same! I couldn’t connect for a good few hours this evening, but I just checked and it’s back. I’ve never not been able to connect, although only had it for a month. I wondered if it had just been overworked ?. Perhaps it was Vodafone’s end?

I’ve got one set up with the solar panel but I’m still having to take the camera down every few days to charge it properly. Is this normal for those of you that have the solar panel or have I just not got enough sun on the panel?

I’ve only had mine a month but it’s still on 100% so that doesn’t seem right at all. My solar panel doesn’t get sun all day either, so I think i’d be checking if the solar panel is even working (not sure how you’d even check that?)

The only times I've had to do that is in the depths of winter when it's really cold. Apparently they don't charge around freezing temps. Mine have been self sufficient for a good few months now.

As mp says, I have only had to do mine in the winter.
is the camera facing an area where there is alot of activity, and sending lots of messages about that, as it may mean lower the sensitivity if so. That’s a pita if you’re watching for suspicious activity.

Thanks both, the camera is looking into a stable which is empty during the day so only has mucking out / bed putting down but has a pregnant mare in at night. Not sure what is what is going on with the battery then, will try moving the solar panel...

I had this problem with mine at first, and when charging the battery from the mains, it took more than 24 hours in a centrally heated house to fully charge. (Reolink were really helpful, there are "fixes" to try, and they immediately offered to exchange the battery). Bizarrely, it suddenly started working properly, and I realised the separate issue I had with the solar panel was due to a slight obstruction from a piece of gutter. Have moved the panel so it is completely unobstructed and it now keeps the battery on 100%. Have you even in touch with Reolink? They are super helpful and quick to respond.

Thanks, that’s really helpful! I think giving a full long charge in a warmer house will definitely help. Will let ou know how I get on
