Entered the PNP again though a bit scared as the SJ's at Tweseldown always look massive to me anyway
smirk.gif

Anyway, the dressage test was Novice 126 and with lengthening in canter on both reins on a circle and in trot across the diagonal I was expecting my usual cricket score plus some.

However, we gave a fair crack at it, and got what has been one of my best marks this season: 33.3

Onto the SJ, which I didn't get a chance to walk nor barely look at as both times I went for a look they were still doing PN. The course was the same as for the PN except a bit bigger - gulp!
crazy.gif

And I rode like a complete numpty including twice taking off before Rosie did
tongue.gif
.... and doing mad kicks here and there and even screeching a 'hup' over the massive triple bar which was shockingly big I thought!

Rosie ignored all this flapping, and cantered round in her usual style, popping over everything for a clear

Onto XC which was a lovely course. Think Rosie realised it was the last one of the year and decided to test me .... nearly running out at the first fence, a house. And then spooking wildly at some of the other unflagged fences
smirk.gif

Apart from that she soared round for a lovely speedy clear.

After a wash off and lots of carrots and pats and left munching in her trailer I walked the mile to the Sec's to look at the scores. Yippeeeeeee!!!! 6th place!!

And KH1 came 5th too - well done you two.
smile.gif

Found out today that I've got placed in the South East Eventers League this year - woo hoo!!!
grin.gif

I'm sure people wonder whether I should've outgrown my pony by now
smirk.gif

But Rosie doesn't realise she's half the size of everybody else and she adores her outings
grin.gif

well done jo
smile.gif
- for both your results... will you have to go to a big ceremony for the SEEL?

thanks for collecting my stuff - im curious to know how much money there will be?
smile.gif

hopefully try and arrange to go hunting over the winter?

x

Thanks all - yes the best end to the season!

KH1 - yes, will get a prize at the SEEL Ball - eek! That's more scarey than doing the PNP SJ'ing!!! Hope they keep the lights dimmed for when I fall off my high heels!!!

I don't know how much you won, will have to open the envelope to write your name on the blank cheque. Will send it tomorrow when I find an envelope to fit your big rossie in. I fear it will get squashed flat though !!!!

haha... bet there'll be no chance of you having dimmed lights as you go up to collect your prize - cameras will be everywhere!!
grin.gif

Blank cheque? brilliant!!
cool.gif
do you think it will be enough to cover my excessive entry fee of over £80??
smirk.gif
Not that im complaining... im happy with just the rossette and placing on my record!!

thanks for posting it - let me know how much i owe you though...
smile.gif

Saw you'd had a fab day!!

For some reason I was so nerve wracked I thought I was going to throw up before the SJ! The Steward told me to go somewhere else and do it as she'd throw up too
blush.gif

Put I managed to hold back as Rosie didn't want diced carrots in her mane
smirk.gif

For some reason big SJ's are far more scary than big XC ones!

Fab result to end the season with welldone! Is she the chestnut in your sig? I was in the PNP too, and did notice a little chestnut, as was walking back from SJ/XC as I was walking to each, so may have seen you?!
Unfortunately we had a blip xc - braking/steering failure which gave us 20pens, so my boy is now in disgrace as he was on target for a rosette with 28 dressage/clear sj...he is feeling far far too fit and well, but we have Aldon for another chance, and I'm hoping to steeplechase/tracks will settle him!
Congrats on the SEEL prize too

Oh dear, hope you didn't see our whoopsy

bright bay with a wonky stripe, and my colours are green/yellow?
were you there riding - how did it go?

Yes, the little chestnut in my Sig. I was parked in the top right hand corner in the bushes and seemed to spend my day walking back and forth seeing what was going on
smirk.gif

What an awful shame
frown.gif
about your braking and steering issues as you'd have come 1st or 2nd wouldn't you, with a 28 dressage?

The dressage marks seemed really tight (mostly in the 30's), so a 28 would've set you that bit nicely ahead. Well done for that
grin.gif

Someone needs to nobble Mr Spencer with all his twenties dressage scores
wink.gif
Every event I've been to with my friend this season, he's been in the same section with some fab score.

I was watching a friend in the PNP. Deffo saw you as remember the colours, but nope no whoopsy watching! Nice horse too
grin.gif
Friend was out of the placings but best dressage score this year and nedlet jumped like a stag so fab way to end the season
grin.gif

madhossy, yes think I did unkowingly see you then
laugh.gif
how big is she? must be a cool little pocket rocket
smile.gif
Yes we would have been 2nd - Ken Spencer still would have beaten me on his 27 dressage! - why is it so hard to get it all right on one day!! Yes was very chuffed with his dressage though, best mark this season
smile.gif

Teapot - glad your friend went well, and thanks, he is a superstar really, just too keen for his own good!!

Rosie's about 14.3hh, so just a mini really. But she's so keen I just have to hold on in the main, apart from the spooks!
