Entered the PNP again though a bit scared as the SJ's at Tweseldown always look massive to me anyway
Anyway, the dressage test was Novice 126 and with lengthening in canter on both reins on a circle and in trot across the diagonal I was expecting my usual cricket score plus some.
However, we gave a fair crack at it, and got what has been one of my best marks this season: 33.3
Onto the SJ, which I didn't get a chance to walk nor barely look at as both times I went for a look they were still doing PN. The course was the same as for the PN except a bit bigger - gulp!
And I rode like a complete numpty including twice taking off before Rosie did
.... and doing mad kicks here and there and even screeching a 'hup' over the massive triple bar which was shockingly big I thought!
Rosie ignored all this flapping, and cantered round in her usual style, popping over everything for a clear
Onto XC which was a lovely course. Think Rosie realised it was the last one of the year and decided to test me .... nearly running out at the first fence, a house. And then spooking wildly at some of the other unflagged fences
Apart from that she soared round for a lovely speedy clear.
After a wash off and lots of carrots and pats and left munching in her trailer I walked the mile to the Sec's to look at the scores. Yippeeeeeee!!!! 6th place!!
And KH1 came 5th too - well done you two.
Found out today that I've got placed in the South East Eventers League this year - woo hoo!!!
