Was having a little google of a horse I sold last year, see if I could find any results for him.
I checked out his British eventing record- nothing new on there. Then I checked his British dressage record, And saw a new result for him. Then I checked the date- it was two weeks before I sold him!
How could this of happened? Maybe someone has registered their horse in the same name and bd has got confused along the way? Or can people steal horses identity?! Or maybe the dates were mixed up? It's also a novice test and he came second, He has done novice to a good level, but had been out of proper work for a while so I'd be surprised he'd done so well if the dates were slightly mixed up?
Thanks

we've got this with one of our racehorses, he had never raced before and WE named him with weatherbys but if you look him up he has raced about 5 times before apparently! Weatherbys dont seem to know what has happened, they know he has never raced before but cant understand how every results sites have something else up.

Sounds more like a double up of names, however get in contact with BD and get then to check it for you, they will have on record height, colour microchip number etc, they are very helpful and will be able to maybe shed some light onthis for you !

One of mine apparently won something which we had entered but then could not go as he had a tooth abcess! Only problem was that the class he apparently won was at the breed show and would have put him out of novice classes so I did contact them to try and get it corrected but they never did!

One of ours appears in the HSI stallion book under a sires progeny, it is listed with a date of birth that makes it 10 years older than its dam and 12 years older than the stallion and it has a competition record with its new owners even though we haven't sold her! :D She is in the field as she was injured as a foal and cannot be ridden.
