Last winter I decided I had had enough of freezing cold hunter wellies so I bought myself two pairs of boots to keep my feet warm!
The first were a pair of Mark Todd Cook winter boots which I bought around November.
The second were a pair of Derby House winter mucker type boots for doing the mucking out etc. But I stopped wearing them in about March as they had warn holes in the soles and made a squidy noise every time I walked so am thinking about returning them. But they were mail order (what a fiasco getting them here in the first place) and with Derby House's reputation I'm not sure if it's worth the bother as they were about £50ish.
I loved the Mark Todds, really warm with furry interior but quite worn on the sole already but then last night the zip on them went. So that's about 5-6 months wear before a pair of boots that cost £110 have given up. They came from a local saddlery.
Do you think I could get replacements? I've never returned boots for this reason before but have seen a few posts where people have sent boots back because they have leaked or worn down?
