Riders mistake? Very honest horse!

Neither horse nor rider are injured.

I'm almost certain this is rider error though, although the horse sure did take him in to it! Needless to say the horse is VERY honest

No I don't think the rider did anything wrong.

The horse misjudged the question and made a mistake. Not much the rider could have done.

The horse was strong going into the first fence, over jumps and tries to bounce, realises that he couldn't and paddles whilst trying to take off.

As said what an honest horse.

think it was both, the rider lands unbalanced after first fence and is infront of horse. They are both unsure of one another! Glad both are ok

Rider came in very forward to the first and was over horses shoulders when it landed, next time I think rider might sit up ALOT quicker and try to hold the horse for a stride!

But what an honest horse, it really did try bless it!

I saw that video on a french forum. It was at Fontainebleau, during a show for young horses. It might explain why the horse tried to jump while he should have make a stride between the two fences (the lack of experience I mean). Very promising horse anyway!

Wow! What an amazing fall! Very graceful and smooth then the horse just got up and carried on!
