i have ears top and bottom, nose, tongueand belly button pierced. no oneever notices and i had the last one done 13 years ago. some family and friends still havent noticed my tongue!
riders with piercings? ie facial/ not just ear lobes

My hubby has ear plugs that stretched his lobe, he also has a skin peircing at the back of his neck,and chin and eyebrow piercings done.
There are to many tatts to mention, but the one i like is a horse with a father time like figure riding it on his back.
My nose was done but had to take it out for work and it closed over,i. Like tatts but dont have any ...... Yet

3 ear piercings in each ear and i wear hoops in the bottom 2 and a stud in the 3rd hole, never had problems with them while riding or got them caught when dealing with horses. have my tongue done and have my nose done but nose stud is currently out as i kept losing it
only time i have ever had problems was when i worked for a large pet store chain and was told i had to take my nose stud out, told them it was discrimination and they backed down but as a compromise i did remove it for visits from HO. Also have 3 tattoos and the only time i have had comments about them and the piercing was again at the pet store from a colleague who said he found them repulsive and he didn't think i should be allowed to be a deputy manager because of them, i told him i found his BO repulsive

I have my ears, nose and belly pierced now, used to have my lip but that was ripped out by a foal, also had stretched ears but taken them out now and they've closed up (thankfully!)
I also have 3 tattoos, I find a lot of people disapprove but I don't really care what other people think, people say its dangerous keeping my nose stud in, but that is my choice and I don't comment on other peoples choices on what to wear!

Do you ears go back to normal after using those earhole stretchy things? I've always wondered when seeing people wearing them but felt it a bit rude to bounce up to them and ask strangers.

Well mine weren't massive, but still big enough, the actual hole is back to normal, but my ear lobe looks and feels a bit funny around it!

Whether stretched lobes will shrink back depends on the individual's skin and how far they've been stretched.
I used to have tons of facial piercings (I was a piercer for a while so wouldn't have inspired muc confidence if I'd not had any!!) but there's no way I'd ever leave any in whilst riding. I've seen the aftermath of piercings being torn out and it's really not pretty. Its too much of a risk for me and there are so many good retainers about I can't see any reason to keep them in.
I've actually retired all mine now as I didn't want the constant faff of taking them in and out all the time. My body mods are now restricted to tattoos!!
