Riding after F & T vaccination

Hi i was just wondering how long you should leave it before you ride after a vaccination my horse had his last F&T jab on friday so he's had 2 days off all day Friday and today i was just wondering if it would be okay to take him for a long hack tommorow with my friends he will probably get sweaty as its quite a way and we will be cantering which is why i wanted to ask hes had his jabs before and has had no known reactions.

He will be fine, kick on. The racehorses don't get a day off after their jabs and have never had any issues.

I give a day off cos I'm soft but would def hack after 2 days ?

I give them the rest of the day off, but ride next day. Don't work hard, as in hot and bothered, for 3 days.

Yeah he had the rest of the day off yesterday and all day today

Great thank you! Yeah i am to i gave him 2 days off but i was just asking as he gets quite sweaty even from a schooling session but it's not to hot Currently

Our lad wasn’t great to stand for vets (fortunately only needed vet once other than vaccinations). We used to hack to vet, stay mounted, vet would pop out, quick check of heart etc, vaccination in, and hack home.

No day off.

I wouldn't ride on the same day as the jab but fine the next day.

all horses are different but I give mine 2 days off as mine doesn’t respond well to it makes her off colour and very quiet.
