Riding again after a nasty accident = your experiences please

well, I'm back to mucking out now and did it all by myself yesterday with no help! Am dead proud of myself. Even got my horse in myself and went in the stable with him for a cuddle and scratch. He keeps whinnying to me if I'm still on the yard (him already having eaten his food and has plenty of hay) - perhaps he's missed me!

Thanks henmother. I'll need to wait till my bone has finished fusing first, but am thinking positively.... no point getting worked up about riding - I either go for it and see what happens, or decide I'm too scared to do it (which I don't think is going ot happen, though it will be a bit scary at first I think!)

Waffles. I've just been reading up on magnets and how they can aid bone mending and soft tissue damage. Might be useful for you if they work as well as the claims. I've been experimenting on my shoulder- arm using two quite strong ones but too early to say if it works. Just remembered not to put them in my handbag with my purse! :o this morning as travelling to Cyprus.

thanks for the info about the magnets - I know there's been a long tradition of using them for stuff. I read in some magazine or other the other day (Woman's Weekly or something of that ilk) that magnets definitely don't work and it's all old wives' tales - but it was written by a GP. lol
