Ive seen an event rider in one of the horse magazines wearing ear covers that appear to clip onto the ear straps on her riding hat.

Anyone know where I can find some as I get terrible earache riding in the cold.

I'm going to be really sensible and boring here

but please please don't wear them when you are riding on the road - they really do obscure your vision and prevent you from hearing properly

How can they obscure your vision if they are on your ears???

if you ring wendy at white rose saddlery ,malton ,north yorks

she will post you them ! same as at horse requsites.

NEVER BOTHERED MY VISION !! use them everyday,on the gallops ,arena and hacking

i have been flicking through the griffen nuumed catalogue and they have them too. For a bit more of a budget option, my o/h took out the 'velcro in' padding from his hat and put a fleece headband/earwarmer thing in instead. Makes a huge difference, can't do it on my hat though as it messes the fitting up. (Safety wise his hat still fits just as well.)
