Riding Tights - what on earth is the attraction?

These are my favourite cheap and cheerful in the liquorice candy colour. My first pair are from Christmas 2021 and still going strong

Kerrits for me. Nice proper waist high band ... hate low waist. Nice soft knee pad. So very very comfy. No phone pocket though. I have lived in these for years. Bought a different make recently with a sticky bum and although comfy ( not as good as kerrits), I hate the sticky bum and there are no knee patches. I do like a top to cover my bottom though!
I too loved musto snugs and still have a couple of very old pairs. They were brilliant. Musto lost the plot in my opinion though regarding equestrian wear, especially regarding their waterproof riding jackets. They used to be the best IMO with the style that covered my bottom and the saddle and you could have the liner in or out. Wouldn't be seen dead in a blouson style jacket.

I’m in the equilibre fleece lined ones for winter. Think they’re from Kramer. Nice high waist band, not flimsy and not too wobble inducing! I’ve just got the nice contrast competitions ones from horzehoods with a navy seat, no silicone, they are a bit thinner so I don’t think they’d suit me for every day but they’re smart for comp use and the contrast seat is flattering!

l've just received a pair of Lemieux fleece breeches, the pull on ones. They’re nice and cosy on a horrid wet day. I’d like to stock up on several pairs of fleece linned waterproof ones as l don’t think spring/ summer is arriving anytime soon and it just keep raining.
Looking at equine splendour and Countrydale. The waterproof ones sometimes suggest the sizing is different / tighter. The Lemieux are a 14, l wouldn’t want them any bigger, hoping they won’t stretch but there’s plenty room to wear thermals underneath if required, any advice re sizing please. 😀

Equine splendour are true to size, not sure about countrydale 😊
