Hm. I don't like 'normal' knickers as they feel funny after years of wearing something smaller shall we say, but I have to say, my normal under attire is not good for riding in!

Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm not riding tomorrow unless I can find a nappy...

LOL i ride in girls boxer type knickers....lol though some undergarments sold are clearly not for wearing if you want to fumble around in the hay barn with the stable lad!

Aaah, I sympathise.. I wear shorts-type knickers from Asda (yes, classy I know, and also inexpensive

) as the seams and binding are really flat and smooth.

M&S all the way, draw a line (pardon pun) at Full Briefs but minis & midis do the job.

can anyone recommend good riding underware that doesnt cause VPL?

also, im a 34 D cup size (sometime 34 C dependent on the brand) and i want a good sports bra to wear (as my best ones are getting ruined!) anyone know any good makes?

Talking of undergarments, I got a Pure Lime bra at Olympia cos my instructor is very particular about uncontrolled bouncy boobs in sitting trot!! and I have to say it works a treat! very comfy, too, but not exactly sexy. M&S rule for knicks tho xx

i still think myla, la senza and ann summers should bring out an equestrian range which isnt all about whips but about bras and knicks!

I have found some of the short type knickers in Tesco's. They are seam free so no VPL and come in black, white or flesh colour and are about £2 a pair. They are very comfy to ride in - don't feel like your wearing any!

As for bras, the best sports bra I've had is from M&S - being fairly well endowed myself I find the ones that have the V back give you the best support and least jiggling!!

That's true, I think Katie Price should bring out a range of *controlled* undies for ppl with larger busts seeing as she must know what it's like!!
Shock Absorber bras are good...cheap on ebay! (new of course!)

Another thumbs up for Sloggi high legs (Tai style). Been wearing them for years (not the same pair obviously!!!).
Under my show jods which are honey coloured and thinner I wear the white Sloggi "control" Tai pants to keep my tummy under control

Mmmm, that would make the hunt for suitable undergarments somewhat redundant
