What a fantastic grand national winner he was. Sounds like he had a lovely retirement with Timmy Murphy enjoying doing ROR classes & dressage.

Aww sorry to hear this, sounds like they gave him enough of the right work to keep his brain engaged which is always important :) in a way it was a good way for him to go though - at least there's no hint of any bad accident just going in the field.

What a sad news headlines, such a beautyful horse with a National to his name. RIP and you will not be forgotten lad sleep well :(

Sad to hear this. He looked so well at the parade prior to the Grand National. Only consolation, if there is one, is that he seems to have gone suddenly surrounded by his friends in his field.

Another Grand National story from today is that this year's winner Rule the World has been retired. Sounds like he's a bit fragile, so he's going to be a field friend with another former good horse, the Gold Cup winner, War of Attrition.

Oh, I'm pleased to hear that Rule the World has been retired. He's been a good servant and I wish him a happy retirement with War of Attrition.
