What a fantastic grand national winner he was. Sounds like he had a lovely retirement with Timmy Murphy enjoying doing ROR classes & dressage.

Aww sorry to hear this, sounds like they gave him enough of the right work to keep his brain engaged which is always important in a way it was a good way for him to go though - at least there's no hint of any bad accident just going in the field.

So sad, I have a photo I took of him at Cheltenham in March, he looked great.

Sad to hear this. He looked so well at the parade prior to the Grand National. Only consolation, if there is one, is that he seems to have gone suddenly surrounded by his friends in his field.

Another Grand National story from today is that this year's winner Rule the World has been retired. Sounds like he's a bit fragile, so he's going to be a field friend with another former good horse, the Gold Cup winner, War of Attrition.
