My friend lost her beloved horse yesterday.
He was her first horse she ever owned by herself and had owned him for 18 years. He was 29 years old and an ex hunter. He was an ID x TB so i think he did amazingly well.
We knew he would be put down this year as his arthritis wasn't getting better and she tried everything, didn't expect it to be this soon though.
I've known him for 2 and a half years and i'm gutted, I can't even begin to imagine how she feels.
He had the happiest life and it was an honor to know him and be the last person to ride him which was last summer. (He still needed his martingale back then!)
RIP Danny Boy
