Sadly overnight the toxic laminitis got worse. This morning the x-rays showed that her pedal bones were moving and the pain was worsening so we made the tough decision to have her PTS.
She was still fighting, she was eating really well and resisiting needles but the road to recovery with toxic laminitis is so long and tricky that it really just wasnt viable for her. We said goodbye this morning.
Makes me think twice about breeding from Moon, couldnt bear to lose another through foaling.
So here she is back in her competing days-
Last summer-
And just last week, enjoying the rich grass!
