And down again!
Im sure hes fine, they just want to get him drinking ASAP!
I can imagine my horse being like this when he was a foal, far too easy to just stay lying down, although his stomach would have driven him to find food!!
I went through all of this with a foal, got stuck, had to be pulled out, mine was a bit of a dummy foal, and we had to end up milking the mare and bottle feeding him, then get the vet to come and help.
Thise girls just dont look like they know what to do! Sod PC get a couple of strapping blokes in!
They could do with making a sling type thingy out of one of their coats, just to keep his middle up!
Shes certainly given up trying to be protective, but would they give her anything like that if foaleys going to suckle?
Shes not helping much though is she!
people..remember that rollestone are kind enough to let us watch these births, I'm sure as a stud they know what they're doing..
Foalie doesnt seem to know what to do with back legs!

Yeah, judging by the amount of foals on the website they are seasoned pros at this.
Im sure as a stud they do know what to do, however these girls dont seem to be able to help much as between them theyre struggling to help foaley move about.
