Rope nosebands in Dressage?

I'm not even near doing it so don't come for me, but is it legal to use a rope noseband in dressage? especially with a double bridle. either the bare rope or the leather-covered version.
I always loved how it looks esthetically but I'm well aware I can't choose the tack for the mere look of it ( either way I'm not even riding in a double bridle, so don't worry), especially since the rope noseband is strong and combined with a double bridle would be too much, but in the weird case the horse is super strong or anything, would it be legal?

Not sure if legal or not but in all my years competiing I've never seen one in dressage!

They're not specifically called out in the rules however the guidelines do show 'legal' nosebands and they are not included. I can't imagine that they would be allowed.

A standard rope noseband I doubt it.
If it’s that type of look you would likely be fine with a rolled leather noseband

I can't imagine either, but at least when drawing horses with that tack it looks good haha

I really don't like rolled leather as much as I like the rope details but I figured out maybe one covered in leather could work or use a rolled leather noseband and add stripes simulating a rope ( the part that has contact with the horse would be plain if that makes sense)

Yesss I'm surprised as well, if it didn't have such a harsh action along with the double bit it would be quite original!
