Love rugging questions that is, not rugs. Although some might also love rugs..... I digress...
Big Bay is a TB, and while she is currently looking well, she hasn't got as thick a coat as the other three have. The temperatures are going to be relatively ok here next week, at around 8 or 9, but it is going to rain and be windy. So, question is, should I rug? I have just taken delivery of a nice new rug for her, and if wasn't raining and windy I would leave her naked, but with the wet weather forecast, I don't know what to do. Ideally I need to rug her today if I am going to rug, as it is dry. If I leave it she will be wet for days on end, thus making it more difficult as I don't like to rug a wet horse, although have been known to do so in an emergency before.
So, rug, or not? WWYD?
