Can you pls recommend a rug manufacturer for a horse with a biggish chest and big deep neck please? Horseware appear to be too small at the neck and are therefore sitting very high up the neck and causing some pressure across the withers when the horses head is down.

Thanks

Mark Todd fit our chunky pony nicely

have you had the horsewear with the v-neck, I have found they sit really well on my D though could perhaps do with a size bigger!

we use a masta on our 17hh clydesdale X TB and he's deep chested really fits him well and has lasted well for a cheaper rug.

I'm another vote for Fal. My warmblood has a wide chest and a deep neck (low point of shoulder)

Mark Todd also very good. The lightweight with the full neck is excellent. Old Dairy Saddlery often has discounts of 20% plus for Mark Todd.

Haven't tried the horseware xl, but the standard and y shape breast clips are useless on my guy. Having said that those horseware newmarket fleeces fit him a treat.

Premier Equine are perfect. My hoss has huge chest and neck for his size and they have never rubbed him!

I usually use masta on my enormous highland as they fit him really really well. I have tried weatherbeeta but the neck was too small. Horseware rugs also fit him round his chest, but I haven't tried one with a full neck. I know lots of highland owners also like Mark Todd rugs.

My Horseware Rhino fits a treat, as do all the Amigos. I bought a Mark Todd yesterday and it fit the pone great everywhere other than her chest - it just wasn't wide enough, so it's going back tomorrow.

I've a big necked deep chested beastie and mine are Shires,Masta, and one Fal (from the sales) I like Masta as they also cover her tum nicely....some brands I've tried make her look like she's wearing a mini skirt..
