Rode Blue last night and each time i went in to canter he got faster and faster and faster!
I could stop him but he was quite strong too.
I was trying to practice my dressage test and fast canter is NOT required! Sensible steady canter however IS!
Why might he be doing this?
He has got the hang of cantering 'round' and in a contact now (he was cantering like this last night but just a bit fast!) and we've just cracked staying round and in a contact in the trot/canter transitions...
It was a little chilly last night like zero when i was riding but wouldn't have thought that would cause it particularly? He's had no more days off than he would usually.... do you think he's maybe just getting stronger or something??
