I am going to get the Sabre Cordoba hopefully! Woop! Anyway, but I was looking at the crank nosebands and wondered which was better - sheepskin pad or leather pad? The sheepskin looks really comfy and fluffy and it says it is double sided ajustable for maximum control but maybe not practical cleaning wise? The leather one says medium control because it is only adjustable one side. But maybe more practical for cleaning??

Thank you!

I had a bridle that came with a crank noseband. I had it done up like a cavesson, i.e. not tight.

I prefer the leather as it is easier to keep clean. If clean and supple it should be soft

hiya - ive got a cordoba with the sheepskin as my boy is very sensitive to bridles because he has a wonky face. its not that hard to clean!

looove the cordobas!

I have the cordoba and I have the leather crank noseband on it and it is really soft and padded and much easier to clean than I suspect a sheepskin one would be, also the sheepskin might wear down after some use and need replacing.

Another vote for the leather pad here. Good choice though, they are lovely bridles and I am really pleased with mine. So, square or round raised?
