Didn't have any affect on my last horse.... though nor did ACPs
My gelding had a little bit the other day when we clipped him, though I'm not certain it had any effect on him either O.o
However - I have known it to work almost too well on other peoples horses!

The one time I tried it on my horse ahead of EDT coming, it barely made a difference and we couldn't go ahead with appointment so I had to go for sedation by injection with a vet. Thankfully he's getting better with his teeth being done now so haven't had to go that route again.

Every horse is different but gave it to my TB after 3 months on box rest before turning him out for the first time - he was still dopey 6 hours later but didn't hoon around in the least so it defintely worked for him.

It doesnt work for my mare....but she actually fights injected sedatives last time she was sedated vet had to give enough his words *that should have knocked out a elephant*

Gave it to my horse before her arch nemesis the dentist arrived, made no difference at all so she had to be sedated by a vet. But I know someone who gave it to her pony and it took over 5 hours for the poor thing to wake up!!

Iv seen sedalin used a lot from clipping in the yard i help out...it can be effective on some horses as long as their relaxed before their givin it but once thay break its hold then they are completely back to their normal-stay away from me with that scary thing-selves....also watever you do dnt twitch a horse thats under sedalin sedation...they get very alert fast!

Id try twitching first b4 sedalin tho as it is a prescription med so you need to get it off a vet..
