Few questions...
1) Can anyone recommend a good saddle fitter in Cheshire? The only place I know of around here that fits saddles is Crewe saddlery (which is now specializing in only saddles so I believe?) and I don't know if they are any good??
2) Even if I get a saddle fitted asap, there's no way I can afford one immediately. I'm aware that the saddle I have for my horse is less than perfect, but it does fit just about, and could be a lot worse. However, is there anything I can do that might relieve some of the pressure that it may be causing him? He's not at all distressed by being tacked up or anything, and has no major ridden issues (yet...) but I know I need to get this sorted out for his benefit sooner rather than later
3) Can anyone recommend any synthetic jumping saddles that are half-decent? The saddle I plan on buying first will be a dressage saddle, but I don't want to entirely give up jumping, even if it just means the odd 2'6 class and farm rides every now and then! And because I jump with my stirrups so short, jockey-style maybe?
my knees tend to come over dressage/GP saddle knee rolls!
However I can't see me ever having a lot of money after buying a new saddle!
