Never done one of these but can't work out the answer myself! I need to sell my jumping saddle and reckon it would be best to sell privately (rather than part-ex it). Only thing is, I have no idea how much to ask
It's an Ideal Impala, 17.5" and MW. I've had it 3 years and it was about £900 new - it's well used but I've always looked after it. I can only find new ones in ads online so it's a bit hard to judge what's a fair price for a used saddle
Also, I last had it flocked in the autumn when my horse was very fit but slightly wonky, so it was done to take account of this. Would it be best to have it flocked straight before I advertise it, or will potential buyers plan to have it flocked to their horse anyway? (I would, if it was me
)
Any advice/thoughts gratefully received - I've always sent my old saddles away with the horses they fitted!
