After my epic clear-out (see below post!) I've discovered that I have more saddles lurking than I need, two of them belonged to Cybele
Off to the saddler's later to take my clippers for repair, and was going to take an advert along for them all.
Thing is I have no idea what to ask for them.
I have.....
17" Charles Mountford GP. Narrow/Medium fit. Aged but in fab condition. Sound tree. English leather, Havannah. Paid about £120 for it 2 years ago I think...
17.5" 'Olympian Competition' Dressage saddle made by Kent Leather Distribution of Maidstone (now Saddleworld?). Black, english leather. Spring tree. Narrow/Medium fit. Has been used as a show saddle so girth straps for a long girth rather than a dressage one. Only been ridden in a handful of times, though slight fading on the left hand side panelling at the back.
Can't remember how much I paid for it....
17" Wintec synthetic GP. Traditional flocking, not CAIR. Adjustable gullets and removable knee blocks. Good condition.
What prices would you put on that lot? Or would you just stick them on ebay?
I have a treeless and a couple of stock saddles too, but have a feeling that possibly they might be better advertised on various websites/more specialised places rather than the tack shop?!
