hiya x i had a lavinia mitchel saddle fitted a few months ago and had the saddler out a few weeks ago for a reflocking. the saddle is fitted with a shim numnah OR halfpad (whichever i want to put on), and i was extremely happywith the fit. however, the saddle seems to be moving quite a lot at the back. it sways from side to side and there is "scrubby" patches of hair that looks broken off.
Also, recently it is slipping quite badly from side to side. i brought a prolite saddle stay pad to put under my halfpad, which works wonderfully to keep the numnah in place...BUT the saddle is still moving around on top! its so frustrating as i feel so unbalanced and uncomfortable...to the point where i just cant be bothered and end up riding bareback. and also i cant buy a non slip numnah because if have to use the shim numnahs i got with it....grrrr!!
any advice on the slipping and rubbing?
