Saddlery for Hunter Trials & One Day Events

Hiya, I'm a newbie to the Eventing/Hunting scene and I'm wondering whether my Wintec synthetic saddle would be decent enough to do these events. It is a Wintec 500 VSD Flock ECFS which has a cut at the pommel and a big scratch/scuff at the cantle. Would this saddle be decent enough to do these events?

Those sound like cosmetic issues rather than anything that would compromise your safety. If you are comfortable and secure in your Wintec then you will be fine to use it for eventing and hunting No one else will notice the scuffs! You might find that you want something more forward cut for jumping further down the line but if you are happy then no need to rush out and find something new.
