Bassically, I have just found a saddle thorowgood saddle which is perfect in everyway, price range, size etc, for the perfect amount of money, BUT it's a black saddle, and I have a havana coloured bridle. I would idealy (sp) like a brown saddle, but this offer that has come up is just perfect and not very common from what I know.

So the question is, would you buy a black saddle even though you have a havana coloured bridle?

Yes - good excuse to go bridle shopping in the future

I have just bought a v expensive..... brown saddle.

all my tack is black...... to match previous saddle that was second hand so no colour choice on. inc my nice jeffries bridle.

But I decide that if it was to be a forever saddle then I wanted brown and would replace bridle eventually.

yes, and swap with me as I've just bought a brown saddle and previously all of my tack was black, so I'm now left with brown saddle and old black bridle

Yes see I much much much prefer brown tack. And this saddle wont be forever, probably for the next couple of years whilst he is still growning, filling out, muscling up etc... But when I finally get a long lasting one it'll definitely be brown.

I just don't want to get it and regret it.
