Aw sorry for your loss - she had a good life and you can be happy that she was loved, well fed and cared for in her last years - bless you

I'm so sorry. She was a lucky girl to have had you for so long, but that doesn't really help you feel better at the moment.

Sweet dreams Poppy x.

you should be really proud of yourself for keeping her healthy and happy until this point, and for being brave and allowing her to go before the winter set in and made things difficult for both of you.

(((((hugs))))) their passing is never easy, whether they're 5 or 45. My old pony died aged 48 and today I met his spitting image (6 years after he died) and nearly cried to see the pony using Buzzy's old tricks! :(

Run On in Heaven's Fields Poppy.

Thank you all for your kind words,Poppy was even to the last a very happy pony, but due to nearly all of her teeth missing i came to the decision of not going through another winter.

RIP Poppy. You can never really be ready how ever you try to prepare for this day. Take care of yourself and remember the good times - all 20+ years of them!

So very sorry for your loss honey i was in your place yesterday.
please do as i did and take comfort from the fact it is the last kind thing you can do for your animal
R.I.P. Poppy you will now be running free without pain or age to inhibit you
