When I bought my horse a year ago the vet notes he had a few small sarcoids I went into panic mode and nearly didnt buy him because of some of the horror stories I had heard.
One was like a small spot high up inside his hind leg and there was a small flat hairless area on the opposite leg showing signs of 'crusting' her word not mine.
Well I monitored them and fed him Echinacea for the first few months. I lost the second one completely some time ago and now I thought bum I havent checked the other for quite a while , you have to get up close and personal and use his sheath as a headrest to see it, and it is nowhere to be seen.
